Privacy policy

This policy explains what Euro Prop Deals (“we”, “us”) collects when you use europropdeals.com, why, and what you can do about it. We collect very little, and we don’t sell any of it.

What we collect

When you browse

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and which deals they use: pages viewed, approximate location (country and region), device and browser type, how you arrived (for example a Google search), and a few site actions such as copying a discount code, clicking a deal, searching the firm list or sending the contact form. Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address, and we don’t send it your name or email.
• Deal clicks. When you click a button that takes you to a firm’s site, our server records which firm, which button, your country and the time. We don’t store your IP address or anything that identifies you.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are kept for a short period.
• Your theme choice. Light or dark mode is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

When you contact us

If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, the topic and firm you chose, your message, and, for business enquiries, any company name and website you add. We also record the page you sent it from and your browser type, to filter spam. If you email us directly, we keep that email.

When you report a code or a firm

If you report a code that didn’t work, send us a code, or tell us about a problem with a firm, we store the firm, the code, what you wrote, your country (from your connection) and the page you sent it from. Your email is optional; if you add it, we use it only to tell you what we found. We don’t publish your report or your name. We may publish what we confirm ourselves.

When you sign up for code alerts

Euro Prop Deals doesn’t offer email alerts at the moment; this section applies only if that changes. If you join our email list, we store your email address, what you said you trade (if you chose), where you signed up, the time, your country (from your connection) and the exact consent wording you agreed to. We use it only to send code alerts, rule changes and warnings about prop firms, about twice a month. We first send one email asking you to confirm; nothing else is sent until you do. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

Why we use it

• To reply to your message and follow up on it.
• To check the codes and firm problems you report, and keep the site accurate.
• To send code alerts if you’ve signed up for them.
• To see which content, firms and codes are useful, and improve the site.
• To count clicks on partner links, so we can reconcile commissions with the firms we work with.
• To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.

Our legal bases (GDPR)

If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, our legal bases are our legitimate interest in running and improving the site, and in answering your messages and reports. For the email list, it’s your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Cookies

The only cookies on the public site come from Google Analytics (named _ga and _ga_*). They tell repeat visits apart, and by default they last up to two years. We don’t use advertising, remarketing or social media cookies, and Google’s advertising features are switched off for this site.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are measured without analytics cookies by default. You can block cookies in your browser at any time, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who processes your data for us

• Vercel: hosts the website.
• Supabase: stores contact messages, reports, email signups and click records.
• Google (Google Analytics): website statistics.
• Hostinger: handles our email.
• Resend: sends code alerts and the email that confirms your signup.

These providers act on our instructions and may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
• We don’t ask for, collect or store payment details. You pay prop firms on their own sites.
• We don’t have user accounts. We only email people who signed up for code alerts.
• We don’t sell, rent or share our email list, and we don’t pass your contact details to prop firms.

Prop firms and other sites

When you leave for a firm’s site, that firm’s privacy policy applies. If you arrive through one of our partner links, the firm may record that you came from us, usually with a referral code in the link. That is how affiliate commissions work, and it’s explained on our affiliate disclosure.

How long we keep it

• Contact messages and reports: as long as we need to handle them, and no longer than 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Email list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again.
• Deal clicks: kept for statistics. They don’t identify you.
• Google Analytics data: under the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, and no longer than 14 months.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you live in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR (and in the UK, the UK GDPR) gives you the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
• correct it, or ask us to delete it
• object to or restrict how we use it
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it
• complain to your local data protection authority

Similar rights may apply elsewhere, including in Switzerland. Email contact@uspropdeals.com. We’ll respond within the time the law requires, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site is for adults. Prop firm challenges are sold only to people aged 18 or over, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a minor has contacted us, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before we start.
